How to install Plugins and Extensions for Chrome, Safari, Obsidian and Raycast

This guide will explain how to install and enable pinakea integrations for Chrome, Safari, Obsidian, and Raycast.

Chrome / Chromium

The Chrome extension ships inside the pinakea app. Open Settings -> Sources, then click Chrome Connector in Add Sources. The app stages the extension folder, lists detected supported Chrome-family browsers, and installs the native messaging connector helper for all of them.

This connector grants pinakea no access to any browser. It is only the prerequisite that lets the manually loaded extension connect to pinakea later.

After connector setup, pinakea copies chrome://extensions to the clipboard and leaves a floating setup panel open. Paste that URL in your browser, enable Developer Mode, then drag the folder chip from the panel onto the extensions page. If dragging is not accepted, use Reveal Folder and choose that folder with Load Unpacked.

If you install a new Chromium browser later, click Chrome Connector again so pinakea can add that browser’s connector.

Safari

The Safari extension is bundled with pinakea. Open Settings -> Sources, click Safari Extension in Add Sources, then enable pinakea Clipper in the Safari Extensions settings that open. pinakea shows Safari Extension status as Enabled, Not enabled yet, or Status unavailable when Safari cannot report the state yet.

Obsidian

Install the Obsidian companion plugin through BRAT or from the public repository linked on the download page.

Raycast

Download the Raycast source ZIP from the download page, then install it through Raycast’s developer extension workflow.
